If I could, I would spend all day, every day, at the barn with Tigger. However, my schoolwork often gets in the way of that plan. Actually I really enjoy most schoolwork, especially literature, philosophy, history, and science. When I am not riding or studying, sometimes I will just read or write for fun. I love writing all sorts of things; stories, poems, essays and now blog posts. Almost a year ago I wrote a poem in a creative writing class and it was just recently published – in a REAL BOOK! The poem is called “Echo Oh Echo” and it’s about a dog at the barn named Echo and of course, Tigger. In that class I was trying to think of a funny and creative topic for my poem and I decided to write one about Echo stealing Tigger’s grain. It is a fictional and amusing little poem that I think all poem liking animal lovers would enjoy.
“Echo Oh Echo” can be found on page 105 of the recently published book called A Poet is a Poet No Matter How Tall II: Attack of the Poems, which has many amazing poems in it. You can purchase a copy for yourself on Amazon by clicking on the link.
